dense bristly hair, brownish-grey to black in colour.
The canine teeth in a mature boar can be well
developed forming tusks. |

A medium size deer, height to the shoulder about 38
- 40 inches, weight 180 - 240 Ibs. The coat colour in
the summer is chestnut red with white spots, turning
grey-black in winter. |
